The Westside of Los Angeles has long been considered one of the most desirable places to live and work in the entire United States. West Los Angeles is a very special neighborhood located immediately adjacent to Brentwood and Santa Monica at the heart of Westside. Located less than five miles from the beach, the area is renowned for its beautiful year-round temperate weather and air quality. Consisting of mostly multi-family buildings, including a vast array of new condominiums and townhouses, the area offers easy access to Century City, Westwood, Santa Monica, Marina del Rey and both the 10 and 405 freeways. West LA is a central and convenient place to live whether you work from home or commute downtown. The neighborhood is central to the best of Los Angeles's outdoor and cultural attractions, including the beaches of Santa Monica, the Venice canals, the Getty Museum and multiple local and state parks. Close by, residents will find life extraordinarily convenient, with multiple grocery, dry cleaning and fitness clubs in the immediate area, including two Whole Foods within a mile and a half. Although with new residents living so close to the West LA, Santa Monica, Brentwood and Westwood weekly farmer’s markets, it would be possible to skip a visit to the grocery store altogether. In short, the neighborhood offers tremendous access to the entire Westside.
